Central West Rugby FAQ
What does the funds per club per game cover?
- a professional camera operator
- live broadcast of your match
- on‑screen scoreboard and match timing
- full match recording after the game
- highlights and key moments
- access to the competition streaming platform
- training and support
- central monitoring to ensure streams run correctly
Clubs are only charged for the matches they play.
Are clubs paying for other games in the same round?
No.
Each club pays only for the matches they participate in.
You are not contributing to the cost of other games played that weekend.
Do clubs need to manage scoring, streaming, or technology?
No.
Clubs are not responsible for:
- scoring
- starting or stopping streams
- managing the platform
- fixing technical issues
A camera operator runs the broadcast and manages scoring.
Streams are monitored centrally.
Where can supporters watch the live streams?
Matches will be streamed simultaneously on two platforms:
- EventLive – a dedicated event platform that supports registration or paid viewing if required. Links will be available from this website.
- YouTube – for supporters who prefer a familiar, open viewing experience
Supporters can choose the platform that suits them best.
Is training included for clubs?
Yes. Training is included and coordinated by Central West Rugby.
Training will cover:
- what clubs receive before, during, and after match day
- how match recordings and highlights are accessed
- how player profiles and team information can be uploaded
- how the platform can be used to present the club professionally to supporters and sponsors
Clubs are not expected to become technical operators.
How does this help clubs attract sponsors?
The platform allows clubs to present matches in a professional, consistent way, including:
- player profiles
- team information
- match highlights
- potential sponsor branding within broadcasts
During training sessions, clubs will be shown how these features work so they can confidently approach sponsors if they wish.
Is advertising included in the price per game?
No.
Advertising and sponsorship features are optional and not included in the base pricing.
These options:
- can be discussed during training
- can be added later if a club chooses
- may help clubs offset streaming costs
Pricing for advertising is not included at this stage.
What happens during finals and semi‑finals?
Finals and semi‑finals are not included in the regular‑season pricing.
The same streaming workflow can be used for finals, with the option to:
- enable paid viewing
- collect payments securely
- allocate funds to the relevant club or the competition
This allows costs to be recovered during finals without changing systems or workflows.
How many games does each club pay for across the season?
Why is this approach being used?
This model:
- provides consistent, professional coverage
- removes technical burden from clubs
- ensures transparent, per‑match pricing
- allows future commercial opportunities without upfront commitment
Summary for Clubs
- set $ per club, per game
- clubs only pay for their own matches
- no scoring or technical responsibility
- training included
- optional sponsorship opportunities
