TWO CRAFTS.
ONE PERSON.
I've spent my working life in two rooms: the server room and the edit suite. For over two decades I've worked in ICT — building digital solutions, experiences and strategies for organisations across regional NSW. Systems, governance, delivery. Making complex things dependable.
Somewhere along the way, the camera stopped being a hobby. TTR Video became a second craft — most visibly multi-camera live sports coverage of the Kinross Wolaroi School rugby season, streamed live and replayed on YouTube, alongside testimonial and promotional work. And the building never stopped: my own app, WattWhenHow, went from idea to shipped product the same way everything else gets made here.
The two feed each other. Live-streaming a rugby match is a systems problem — signal paths, redundancy, latency budgets. And a good digital strategy is a storytelling problem — knowing what matters, and cutting the rest. That's the whole pitch, really: someone who thinks in systems and tells stories with them.
I live and work in Orange, NSW, and film across the Central West and wherever the story is.
HOW I WORK
Prepared, not precious
Every shoot and every build starts with a plan — signal paths, shot lists, fallbacks. The craft is in what happens when the plan changes.
Story before spec
A testimonial film and a digital strategy fail the same way: too much material, no point of view. I cut to what matters.
Reliable on the day
Live sport doesn't get a second take. Redundant kit, tested workflows, and a calm operator — that's the job.
